I recently made over £3,000.00 in 4 days trading CFD's on RIMM, I know its not spread betting but the principles are the same and I used the research and charting methods I learnt on your course to do this. "As a student in your January course I would like to echo Rabs sentiments as I find that your regular updates to be very encouraging. Getting share tips is not that interesting as there are a whole host of people out there to provide this but to have a teacher with interest in providing constant guidance and updates on trading information is both rare and valuable. I personally haven't started trading yet as I am in the process of switching my personal pension portfolio from the flagging account of a major institution and transferring it to a SIPP account where I will be able to personally manage it. I am learning to trade covered warrants as this is one of the closest financial instruments to spread betting allowed within SIPP. Since this is my retirement fund you can understand that I am taking every step to ensure I have all the necessary information even though this is taking time. I hope to take the plunge in spread betting after I have set up the chart watch probably using Prophet Net however I would like to also follow the UK market. Would you have any advice on how to do this John. Also do you have any experience of web based data charting information crashing and on this basis being a little unreliable. Many thanks and please continue to send out your updates."

Luckily I was going east back towards London last night and the traffic was light, but it looked rather heavy going the other way - plus all the trains were off to, so lucky I was driving. Many thanks for your friendly and supportive Email - you just pre-empted a reply of thanks which was coming.- I just got home after having to return to West Wales via the M50, after finding the M4 totally blocked after leaving you and George!The Course was a ball, and I am much wiser now . It was so helpful to receive so much down to earth, honest opinion about everything that is out there. Your advice was invaluable, and I feel much better prepared now to move towards making that awesome (hopefully not awful ! ) first Trade.
